HORSE RESCUE · EMMETT, IDAHO

Every horse deserves green pastures.

We rescue neglected and at-risk horses, bring them back to health on our ranch, and help our community learn to care for them well.

OUR MISSION

Green Pastures gives neglected and at-risk horses a second chance — rescuing them, restoring their health and trust, and finding them homes where they'll thrive, while teaching our community responsible horse ownership, animal welfare and good care of the land.

Rescue

We take in horses facing neglect, abandonment or an uncertain future, working with owners and local animal control.

Rehabilitate

Good hay, vet and farrier care, patient groundwork and time on pasture — at whatever pace each horse needs.

Educate

Open-barn days, workshops and plain-spoken tips on horse ownership, animal welfare and ranching practices.
